Been living on his performances 2 and half years ago
Not good enough to be winger
Atm doesn't deserve to be played infront of Baradi
Got less than a year left on his contract
Reputation miles higher than performances deserve.
Whilst I hate seeing youngsters with potential getting sold, you couldn't blame the club for cashing in
The byram problem

A few people saying mowatt won't do anything as he doesn't have enough pace, I wouldn't call lampard, Gerard and such like fast, but they've done alright!

Gerrard was a lot quicker than you think.
Lampard wasn't fast but was very mobile
Mowatt is really slow

Go easy on byram ffs... Still young and it's way to early to judge this season..

Gerrard was one of the fastest players in the league in his prime. Lampard as plonker says, was mobile. Mowatt is more than just slow, he is lethargic and moves like he is 80 stone.

I think Byram is a cracking right back but has never been a right winger.
Berardi finished last season well and has continued in that form so far. But don't forget that he has Byram in front of him - if Sam was allowed to play in his preferred position with a right winger in front of him I'm sure he'd excel.
I wish we'd get a proper winger in and have two class right backs competing. I can see Byram as our long term right back and make the step up to the Prem but not Berardi.

have to agree with you there, Best.
Dallas looked handy when switched to right wing. Bring in Limbombe to left wing, and Byram/Berardi competing for RB...sounds pretty exciting.

When it comes to full backs let's not forget that if turner gets injured them we are going to have to play beradi at leftback.
If we signed a winger for the left so that dallas could play on the right then beradi would become backup in two positions, left and rightback.
If we sign a winger beradi is also going to play if either one of them gets injured as Byram would most likely play on the wing if Dallas was injured or moved to the left to cover an injury.
So in theory you have a player who would come into the team were a player in four different positions to get injured.
And over a season injuries and resting players would soon add up.
Beradi would still get plenty of game time.

Berardi has the potential to play in the Prem as well. He's played for Switzerland at all levels, so for me he was the pick of the bunch last season - albeit with a shaky start in terms of red cards.
Would be good to see us having 2 quality RBs with a specialist winger ahead of them .................
