Why does Arsene think he can get Cahill cheaply because he is in the last year of his contract with Wanky?
He was happy enough to squeeze City for an extra few million for Nasri. Now that the Gooners have some money I don't see why other clubs shouldn't squeeze them.

I imagine Wenger has some crazy notion that when trying to negotiate a deal you go in with your lowest offer first or something. The fool.

Just because Citeh are stupid enough to pay twice the player's value doesn't mean Arsenal should.

The difference is Nasri is already proven world class and could play for any of the big teams in Europe, Cahill is decent at best.

Perhaps when you finish 8th,you will finally realise that investing in decent players before the season is off and running actually makes you money when you take the loss of future CL money into consideration.Wenger just wants everything on the cheap all the time and i hope spurs nip in and pinch cahill from you to teach wenger a lesson.Instead of paying back supporters from the old trafford game, perhaps a reduction on your rip off season ticket/matchday ticket prices should be the way forward as you are watching a sub standard team now arent you?
The name is City by the way Battyboy

Nasri is not world class. He is a very good player, yes, but 6 good months do not make you 'proven world class'. He has a long way to go before he gets that accolade.

Nasri has admitted that Vieira and Clichy talked him into joining City over the summer.
As employees of that club, that could be (mis-?) construed as tapping up.
Was Nasri's price so high merely to buy Arsenal's silence then?
