Transfer Deadline

Difficult to know what to expect from Wolves before the transfer deadline at 6pm on Tuesday.

We know the club have accepted an offer from Fulham for Stearman and that Van La Parra has been given permission to talk to Leeds. Afobe remains the subject of bids and speculation, and maybe others will go now or on loan later.

But the big question is will we bring anymore players in. If the sales of Stearman and VLP go through it will bring our summer outlay on transfer fees down to close to zero, although there have been some loans coming in. Dicko looks like he will be out for quite some time, will Stearman be replaced by youngsters or a new signing. We are linked with a couple of left back loan possibles. And the midfield looks far from sorted as we try to cope without Sako.

All in all I think it would be hard to argue that we have looked stronger so far this season than we did last season , so can we improve on 7th without any more new faces?

Let's see how the squad looks on Tuesday evening.

Tino, you don't have to have 2 CB's. The back 3 could be Iorfa, Ebanks-Landell and Golbourne. Especially if the opponents only play one up front.

For goodness sake guys. get over the fact that Stearman is gone. KJ will have the last laugh on all of you. Well almost all of you.

In Kenny we trust.

One CB

Feck off!!!!!!!!

Would have to be a flat three, but yet again, who do we have for the left side wing back? Would have to be golbourne.

...............Ikeme
....iorfa, EEL, Hause
Byrne..................Golbourne
..kmac, coady, Henry
......afobe, alf

Can't say I think that would be our best way forward.

Could have done with a couple more midfielders but never mind, we'll kick on from here

Wolfie says "get behind the manager", "trust the manager", like we should all have blind faith and follow as dedicated disciples.

Don't remember that attitude under Hoddle, Greaves, or other recent managers, including those that gave us years in the top flight. Wonder what's caused the change.

Hoddle, Greaves. These forums weren't about when they were our managers, at least I wasn't and trust you to bring up your hero yet again. Have another one as I can't be bothered debating him anymore.

Unbelievable back to muppet again.

Talk about blind faith.

Net spend £1m

That is actually some achievement. There will be four clubs that have a net spend at least five times that amount who will also be in the Championship with us next season.
