Positivity

I think not only just here but Twitter, Facebook is awash with negativity and constant moaning, time for a change

Transfers - Admittedly there's been a lack of additions to key areas like midfield and strikers but with the inclusion of Pritchard, the returning Carroll, Son coming in along with Njie it's refreshing that we have players who want to play for the club and they'll have no expectation and pressure, with Dier playing well at CDM and Rose, Walker raising their games, we have a chance to give a cup run a real go, the league for me is too far off

Fanbase - Our away support as of recent has become arguably the best in the league, maybe because of the fact the majority of them avoid WHL and go away for the atmosphere and unity

Stadium and Training Ground - We have a real opportunity to push on once we have (the long winded) completion of the stadium, it will be a time when the team and the club as a whole become a genuine contender for a top 4 finish and there should be no excuses once we spend money to bring in the best players.

Levy - He has his critics, and his statement this week is a clear message to the fans of his intents and his respectful way he goes about transfers and running of the club on a daily basis, if you pick holes in his statement then you have a personal issue with DL, we should entrust the team and the hierarchy and support them 100%

Defence - We're unbeaten in 3 games and kept 1 clean sheet and Toby Alderweireld has looked an accomplished player in that position, with depth now in Tripper, Wimmer, Davies, Fazio we're blessed with talent

Squad/Youth - Townsend, Pritch waiting in the wings, the youth talent in Odowua and Ball on loan in Scotland playing very well.

Lamela - .... His hair is good?

I'm excited to see Njie and Son play in those FORWARD positions, and no Don, not as wingers. and reportedly they have had good performances for their teams last season.

WE CAN DO IT LADS

No point in moaning now , nothing good can come of it.

Agreed. Leave the moaning until after we lose to Sunderland.

Thudders

I cannot believe some of the nonsense I have read on here since the transfer window closed. Just for the record this transfer window, Spurs were only outspent by City, Chelsea, United, Liverpool and Villa, which considering that a new stadium has to be funded is pretty remarkable. I have a moan when the team plays badly, and I praise them when they win, but I cannot understand this witchhunt against Daniel Levy, who is running the club absolutely as any decent club should be.

I understand one or two decent posters (Don) do not like Levy, and fair enough that is their call, but some of the other posters just posting rubbish about how Spurs are going to go into meltdown just because they have not signed another striker is nonsense. They are beginning to sound like the media now, with there everything is wrong at Spurs articles and broadcasts.

I am still ultra confident this will be a good season at WHL.

I think you guys will be alright but you might need to be more clinical.

You're creating chances in the centre of the box, which is better than us at the moment (Arsenal game aside), you just need to find the back of the net. I think Son will add to this. Exciting player you guys have.

Great article.

Too many fans take things way too seriously. We aren't a club that can spend tens / hundreds of millions every transfer window.

It's a young team, some players with potential, football is supposed to be entertainment so try and enjoy it

All things considered I think that the majority of Spurs fans have been remarkably positive. Quite surprised on coming back to this hallowed forum to see many upbeat comments rather than the Spurs are poo at everything 'Harry Hotspur' brand of support! We have what we have and the way is forward. We cannot change anything until January so its now up to the players to give 100% and not fall into the abyss of negativity where everyone blames everyone else for mediocre performances. As the twelfth man we have a massive part to play.
TTID like it or not...

I have a friend like him. Claims to be Spurs through and through yet revels in negativity surrounding the club. Schadenfreude on a corporate scale...

LLM

I like to think I see the best of the situation, and I can see there;'s issues, had there been no stadium on the horizon I guarantee you I would be doom and gloom and I would call for ENIC out
