Not seen enough of Martin to comment really.

Wilson is a great natural finisher though, with good pace and work-rate. For a team that creates plenty of chances in the championship, I can really see him doing well if he settles in okay.

If he's going to be played out wide though, I'd rather him have somewhere else lacking in the striker department to get games in his natural position.

If we play him out wide, I'll crack up.

Mike" Martin suffered with injuries last season and knowing our CEO and Paul clement we've got the perfect replacement if it ever happens again. But we will certainly look after him for you. Cheers for the feedback

Isn’t this all pointing towards a failed transfer policy in the summer? How many of the players purchased in the summer did Clements want?

He certainly doesn’t rate Pearce, uses Weimann and Bent sparingly and is having the wobbles over Carson. Not sure if the fella knows his best players or the best positions for them.

The signing of Wilson is strange. As the Man U fan said, he will convert a lot of chances into goals, which to be fair is just what Bent was doing last season. My worry is twofold we aren’t creating many chances and the ones we are are coming through Chrissy Martins link up play, therefore he can’t be a replacement or competition for him.

Comes in for game time but cant see him playing ahead of Martin or Bent

I can see him being recalled very quickly and loaned elsewhere

Bush I want to know why even Bent is here? He does nowt when coming of the bench

Wilson is staying at United for the time being. Injuries to Rooney and Shaw means it will leave us short if Wilson also goes out on loan.

LVG: 'At this moment James Wilson will stay with our squad. We have had an injury to Rooney, a position Wilson plays. Also in the midweek, we had a bad injury to Shaw.
