Today's predictions

Tough game as we all know, its all been discussed on other threads so let's get some scoreline predictions.

I'll be bold and say 0-2 and that's presuming this will be the line up;

Schmeichel
De Laet Morgan Huth Schlupp
Kante Drinky
Albrighton Mahrez Dyer
Vardy

If we play like that I see us being solid in defence and lethal on the attack. If we get one we'll be very difficult to pin back by a side that have no leaders and no grit on the pitch.

This is not the Stoke we're used to, they can hurt us with the flair they have but I don't think they'll be able to contain us. Here's hoping it's not another Bournemouth performance!

Still think another game going in 2-0 down would of lost under Pearson.Last week I thought we were done for, this week not so much......

I love the fact that we are Prem league and score goals for fun! Not expecting us to finish top six but also seem to oncourse for a top ten finish?

I have very good friends here who are Man City fans, four are really from there... So in typical David Brent style I mentioned Leicester are the ONLY unbeaten team in the Prem. Then stated that they are still thinking about the 'bad news!' LOL Good times........

We struggled to get the balance between defensive rigidity and attacking flexibility right last season. We couldn't stop conceding goals and then couldn't recover when we fell behind. Pearson solved the problem just in time when he went 3-5-2, but even then it took a while to select the right personnel in that formation.

Ranieri can't solve the problem of us conceding too many goals in a back four either. The big difference this season though is we do always look like scoring and hence we're still picking up points.

If we carry on picking up points the question of whether to switch to 3-5-2 will become redundant. But is CR can still keep the same attacking proficiency whilst managing to shore us up defensively then we will become genuine contenders for a top 8 finish.

I'd still be delighted with 10th. That would make it a very successful season. We are not a top half team .....yet though the table suggests otherwise I know lol

Miami- Maybe it is the heat? Alas I agree, if we are this terrible in defending yet remain the ONLY unbeaten team in the Prem! Bollox to it.... !!!!! Bring on the AR$E...

Haha I know I blame the miserable english weather for making some on here such grumps.
They should get over here for some sun on their backs.

Miami - I disagree that we're not a top 10 side, in my opinion we definitely are! Which so called top 10 teams are better than us?

Nev - we didn't play the formation and personnel I presumed (wrongly) we would. Inler shouldn't have started and I said it was ridiculous that he was in for Albrighton.

I also said they can hurt us with their flair but won't be able to contain us (tick) because they lack the in game management (tick), leadership (tick) snd guts (tick) to see the game through (tick).

If we insist on playing four at the back and with the current personnel, then we have to play five in the middle. Albrighton and Dyer at right and left mid, protectinf the full backs, Kante and Drinky in the middle protecting the back four with Mahrez in the no.10 role and Vardy up top.

This allows us to be solid and attack and I don't see any reason why we shouldn't be able to retain possession and God forbid, keep a clean sheet.

BS - tactical genius? Well he changed it again and so yeah but he got it wrong for a start.

TB - just a football brain mate, not all agree with me yet but they will ha ha 😂 only joking everyone 👍😊

Look, this team justifies everything I've been saying about them since we won the league. It's taken a bit of time and it has been really difficult for them but at the end of the day, they're a very talented group of players who have settled into this division and their hard work and determination is paying dividends.

The team spirit they have is phenomenal, seeing them smiling while training is brilliant too see and it really is extremely rare. I've only played for one team with that spirit, my village team. We were all mates and fought for each other and we won everything apart from the County cup, lost in the semis to a team full of Senior League and Midland Combination players whereas we only had me and one other that played at a high level on Saturday. Our team spirit made us so successful and to a large degree, that is what's happening at Leicester but we do actually have some very very good players too.

To keep coming from behind just shows how special they are and I see something in them that I experienced in only one team. I'll tell a little football story so if nobody is interested stop reading now 😉👍

I remember playing for Fleckney in the penultimate game of the season. It was midweek away at second place, who were level on points but behind on goal difference.

It was a nasty game, their crowd gave me loads of stick (I was playing left back) and they knew who I was and they did everthing they could to put me off. It was a lot more aggressive than anything I'd experienced (I was only 18) but I was used to people trying to put me off and it seemed to make me play better.

Eight minutes to go they scored and man I copped so much abuse (the goal wasn't even my fault) but this meat head decided to come running on to the pitch and grabbed me round the throat and said "you're not so cocky now are you you little shiiiit".

It all kicked off and my mates were in there in no time, the keeper came flying out and flattened the guy who throttled me, It was nuts. Eventually it all calmed down and the game went on. At this stage they were winning the league because we both expected to win our final games easily.

With two minutes to go, I got down the wing and beat man and whipped it into Mick to leap like a salmon and nod in at the back post. 1-1 and now we were (likely to be) champions again.

From the kick off they tried to attack down my side and they all pushed up but the winger tried to take it past me and didn't have the legs (he was a lot older than me). I took it off him and looked up and saw Johnny, who had pace like Vardy, on the half way line and I just pinged it over the top, he ran on to it and buried it. All over.

You can probably imagine how I wanted to react to the crowd but I kept quiet and a few winks and smiles was enough otherwise it would have been a riot.

The following week their fans came to watch us and again gave me stick all game and one of them kicked me while I was taking a throw in. We were drawing 1-1 and weren't playing well at all, we had been under pressure proper pressure all half and again with a few minutes to go, I broke out of defence from their corner, played it down the wing and carried on running down the middle. The ball was driven in and I got my head on it and directed it into the bottom corner and well if I was cocky a few days earlier, that goal won us the league and I was at home. I ran Adebayor style to our let back position to celebrate in front of them. It was brilliant.

To be fair to their supporters, they actually bought me a beer in the pub and apologised and just said they tried to put me off because of who I was. I told them it made me better so cheers ha ha. Anyway Fleckney was all about team spirit and Leicester have it but they also have fantastic ability too. This team will go far.

FF RDL costing us goals yes this one yesterday none of the others and don't forget that a large amount of talent from the opposition players required to put an inch perfect pass through. Rather than an the two centre backs basic error. so that three of the defence not worthy of a start or is our lack of clean sheets just RDL's fault....to easy to blame just one player.

I wouldn't say he cost us the goal as such, he lost the ball, got back into position and then as the guy cut into the middle he was closed down (or should have been) by the centre halves, who allowed Bojan to run through them.

How are neither of them at fault? If I was playing centre half and someone waltzed past me, I'd blame myself for that!
