With the news that the EPA could fine VW $18 billion dollars what exactly do they do with the fines?
Do they invest in the environment, green energy and stuff?
I can't find the answer on the net.

I find it hard to believe VW are the only car company who have been at it.
They could end up with a whole lot more than 18 billion.

Disgusting amount of money, personally i don't trust any corporation or large governing body to do much good with it...

Don't forget vw are American. That at least quadruples the fine they get. look at bp. Can you imagine them going after an American company like that?
