I'm still playing armatures the now when not injured. Approx 3 games a season.

We used to have an ex Celtic youth player up front for us and he was a raging alky. In order to get the best out of him they had a contract where if he got a hat trick he got a bottle of Bucky! Scored a barrel load but never managed past 3 a game funnily enough. Guy was amazing but just couldn't be bothered with footy.

The 5s leagues are crazy too. Had few run ins at them. We had a player banned from amatuer 11s cause he got sent off during a 5s game we were playing and he threw bricks at the ref while we continued the game and power league sent a report off to the amatuer footballers association and he got a years ban.

I was once having a kickabout as a kid, with a few guys I didn't know too well.
About 20mins in, a couple of carloads of guys turn up, apparently to give one of the guys a doing...cue him pulling a machete out of his breeks....the cant had gone in on a slide tackle on me not 5mins earlier!
