If he's so concerned about his eye he should quit from boxing, opponents won't stop punching his eye, maybe the original post was too harsh as I respect all fighters that get in the ring but a quit is a quit

lets see you get an eye injury and try to 'man on' against somebody that headbutts you full force, then grabs n jabs all fight

Some boxing 'fans' will do anything to slag either the game or the fighters off.

Only thing he should give up on is some of these 'fans'

I love boxing, I love boxing fans who are always well informed. But one thing I despise is part-time boxing 'fans' who write these style articles and do nothing but belittle the sport to their pals or slag todays boxers off against history's greats.

History is always being made. We could be witnessing a future great, who our kids talk about in as high esteem as we do about our greats
