Good luck Brendan

I really wanted him to take the job at Anfield. I genuinely felt he had what it takes to grow into a top class manager.

He presided over the most breathtaking football I have ever seen played at Anfield and I have been a fan since the days of Paisley. Of course Suarez was the fulcrum to that but it needed a certain attitude from the manager to set up a team to go all out attack.

He has the players at his disposal today to go out there and stick it to the bitters and I hope what ever the result that the performance is full of passion and endeavour to play the sort of football that excites us as fans and get the team back on course to challenge the top of the league.

If we lose today it seems Brendan may well part company with the club from what I've heard.

It's a moment that will define our future this afternoon. As ever I hope the very best thing happens for the club and fans first and foremost.

Good luck Brendan

Unfortunately he turned his back on his own staff and his own philosophy to keep his job and to get help from a league 1 manager.He shouod have shown character hes always banging on about and walked when his staff were sacked.

And despite giving up on high pressing and turning to league 1 tactics of getting numbers behind the ball and waiting we still can't defend anyway.

Op..my sentiments as well, want him to do well but i dont think he will. He has to many flaws in management imo:

1..Playing square pegs in round holes;
2..Defensively he is poor tactically, we will never beat the top CL teams with him in charge, we are far to easy to score against..just as lukaku has demostrated.
3..Buys too many players and then doesnt play them properly.

Where did he say he hires and fires staff? His point was about loyalty.

Kennys team played much better, winning football.

Pleased for the manger today. His players fought for him which was pleasing.

I should have said in his first stint as manager.
