Best way to Honour our Howard

Now we're all coming to terms with our great loss, how would you like him to be honored and remembered by Everton and everyone connected.

Many have mentioned statues, name stands etc.

I personally would like a stand named after him, I know many clubs do this and it's not an easy thing to do as many clubs have many legends who have not a stand named after them. I feel Howard deserves it as not only did he win things as a player, he did it as a manager too.

What would you like?

1. Named Stand, if so which one?
2. Solo Kendall Statue
3. Street Name by the ground, i.e. Kendall's Way?
4. Holy Trinity Statue
5. All of the above

Very sad day yesterday for you Toffees in particular and british football in general.

I like the idea of a holy trinity statue, but I would also like a stand named in his honour.

Tricky one, maybe a stand.

One of the corporate suites no doubt should be named after him.

But I think just Dixie should have a statue for now.

Most clubs have several 'legends' but only a few stands so you can't give everyone that particular honour.

As a non-Everton fan however I can't think of anyone more deserving.

I'd go with the holy trinity statue and also a stand named after him.

With respect, the ref to a Holy Trinity Statue is a little presumptious, but i would certainly back a decision to name a Stand in his honour.
My son met several past players at the game yesterday and said that Colin Harvey was in Tears.
It does not surprise me in the slightest. Although my son thought we played poorly, he thought United were excellent, but despite the outcome, he was glad that he was present on such a moving occasion.

By presumptious, do you mean because Colin is still with us? I think it would be nice for a club legend to know he was truly appreciated while still with us.

It's a tricky one on statues.

Young, Labone and Hickson?

If we ever get to a new ground I would like to see plaques/busts of these great players put into the walls around the ground.

Mr R. Yes, that is what i meant.
I would not oppose the idea but feel that Arounas suggestion is more appropriate at this time.
Whatever transpires, will, i am sure, find favour with most Fans.
I feel i must mention the level of support that has come from all corners of the Football World, expressing the very high regard and affection for Howard, and thank those who have contributed their thoughts, memories and time, to do so.
