Sky Bet Championship Tues 20 October 2015, 7:45pm kick off. John Smith's Stadium
Well, it could be an interesting line up against MK Dons, due to Vaughan getting himself sent off and now serving a ban, Chris Powell is talking about bringing in Flo Bojaj. As much as Miler tries, maybe he needs dropping and an experimentation with Wells and Bojaj could be in order.
MK Dons have come up from League 1 and will no doubt be looking to consolidate a place in the Championship. Currently, the Dons are in 16th place, one position higher than Town, but equal on eleven points.
Town have home advantage, does that mean anything anymore? The gates are certainly dwindling. We've been saying and Chris Powell too, that the lads must take advantage and score when they are applying pressure; especially early in the match. Most importantly, this is the responsibility of the midfielders and attackers.
Should Mr Powell tinker with the formation? Should he bring in more youngsters from the development squad? Should Miller take time out for a while? (See what I did there?)
No Hogg due to an injury to his thigh. Is he the next Vaughan? Hogg has been out with injuries quite often. Who will come in? It seems apparent that Carayol is a one trick pony and only puts in twenty minutes, I'm not impressed. For me, it's time Dempsey had a good run out, he has a lot of potential. I don't think he's out on loan? If the midfield is too defensive minded, then they tend to drop back or stay in the middle of the pitch. There always needs to be someone in there to drive forward. Dempsey and Lolley fit that role. Lolley is on loan, so won't feature.
If the lads can keep doing what they have been doing in regards to pushing forward and create chances, then the ball will find the back of the net. Although, no one is getting their boot or head at the end of a lot of attacking moves. This has to change and the strikers have to get scoring. It does depend on the midfield department as mentioned earlier.
Prediction time, I've got a double twinge and an ever so slight good feeling about this one! 2-0 to the Terriers! 👍🏻

Not the best game in the world but 3 points are 3 points and I'm happy with that. Wells took his goal well and that must have done his confidence good. Both Patterson and Bojaj looked composed and assured the short time they were on the pitch.
I know Miller gets a lot of stick but for me he deflects attention away from others. Ok, he's never going to score many but he plays his part. On to Saturday now😄

Is it Patterson or Paterson? I can't remember.

Wow, two goals, a clean sheet and a correct prediction! Wonders will never cease.
I didn't listen due to blowing zeds, but it didn't sound like an entertaining match. I'll have a read up about the game soon.
Great to hear Wells scoring, does he need to get a move on now and bag some more. Paterson will be happy notching too, it's one 't' UTG. 😉
Roll on Saturday, another home match and hopefully another three points against the Rams!
Who is doing the Derby thread? I'll do it if no one comes forward.

See the two gift wrapped goals from our overly generous opponents from last night; thank you MK Dons!

Hilarious goals. I think they took their scouting mission a bit too far and tried to replicate us.
Great finishes though and great to see Bojaj chip in with an assist.

I just can't commit to any more just now. At the moment I'm doing 1 full time and 2 part time jobs and don't know if I'm coming or going as the saying goes. Good job it's not physical work or I'd be dead That would have saved that lorry driver who tried to kill me on Tue
