Derby go to Huddersfield today after a turgid, mind-numbing draw at Blackburn on Wednesday......OR......was it a splendid, brave, rear guard defensive action from a focused and determined team? I think we should be told.
Not going to Huddersfield today, as I have had to visit Wonga to pay for my Notts Florest tickets......absolutely disgraceful prices, but hey, I'm the fool for buying them.....😥
Last year at the John Smith stadium, defending wasn't allowed and a shockingly inept, thrilling 4-4 draw played out and I was threatened with ejection after stepping onto the steps from my aisle seat.... #stewardjobsworth 😨
Jeff Hendrick is still poorly and is using that note from his mum still to get out of the game, so this may be the time for Butters to shine.....
3800 tickets sold to The Rams faithful and anyone who has no ticket has been advised not to travel. So in public spirited interest, I say "don't travel".
NSR continues her sabbatical and may or may not contribute today.
And finally, when Henry Kissinger won the Nobel Peace prize, they said irony finally died. I trump you with Nottingham, City of Sport...😱

Belvoir
That very thought occurred to me yesterday. Will Hughes was never mentioned. Are we missing him?
We were. But there seems to be a fluidity and steel in midfield that wasn't there when we had the holy trinity of Bryson, Hendrick and Hughes.

Nice moves Wassa!! Which one are you?
I thought about Hughes this morning, not in that way Spart, in a way where I was thinking about the experience we have in our midfield now compared to the end of last season. It is so much stronger and that will help greatly in the business end of the season when the pressure is really on. I also though about how organised we are throughout the side, formations are being maintained with the players sticking to the game plan and seeing out games. I wonder if it is to do with the afternoon nap the lads are having. I've realised the reason they do it to help concentration on the technical side after a hard training session in the morning. The lads are not falling asleep in class.

Two mistakes in two games, I may have been hasty in my change of opinion towards Keogh

Two matches is no time to fairly judge a player but three seasons of the same inept crap is plenty.

I think Carson has been the best signing and I have to admit I thought he would be rubbish after not getting into the relegated Wigan team.
I was wrong about him

Igor, Butters looked good, second half especially! He'll be fine.
