Just been watching the West Brom press conference and when likened to Berahino for possibly being distracted by a move away, Ranieri shrugged it off as no chance and pretty much said he's not interested in any other club, his focus is on Leicester and England. He's happy here and he doesn't think there's anyway that he'll be tempted to leave.
So that's now Mahrez and Vardy who aren't interested in leaving, this must be a first for our club surely? It's always been a matter of time before our best players move on to bigger clubs but now our two best players want to stay. They obviously see the potential we have and want to be a part of it.
We know our owners aren't interested in selling our best players and Ranieri has said we want to keep them because we need them for us to achieve our goals. Are the tides changing at LCFC?

I didn't join the Bardy bashing bandwagon when he was struggling in the championship and I don't join the current worshipping either.
Vardy is a decent striker who is currently playing out of his skin, and playing fantastically well. But is he a top premiership striker? No. He is on current form but I don't expect this form to last indefinitely.
He won't leave a club he loves for an average Prem team and he'd get swallowed up by a big club. Liverpool and clubs of their ilk ruin averagely good Prem players. Benteke for example is a good comparison. Average and get totally shown up for it when you join a 'big' club.
Vardy will stay because I don't think he's good enough to leave. He's more than good enough for us though!!

Arro you would love him. He's dubbed as 'the greatest footballer you never saw'.
Hardly any footage of him exists because he played briefly in the second tier during the 70s. He had the ability of George Best and I'm not exaggerating, he was an absolute genius on the ball.
The problem was he also a complete nutcase who never turned up for training, turned up half cut when playing matches and ended up in fights constantly. On his day he was unplayable, but he was also unmanageable which is why he had such a short career.
My favourite story is when he went missing for 6 weeks and turned up for reading to play on a match day without training. He had been at a hippy commune. He was the best player on the pitch and scored an incredible goal. The referee actually applauded and said to him that it was the finest goal he had ever seen.
Friday responded "you should come down more often, I do that kind of thing every week"
