Right, some transfer news, with Demari Gray to be confirmed in the next 48 hours according to reports, today we have also been linked with Pedro Pereira.
17-year-old right back from Sampdoria, can honestly say I have never heard of him, seems Claudio is addressing areas we need extra bodies for but these 2 are very young players.
Here's hoping we add some more that can come straight into the squad and help secure those extra 40 points we're aiming for.

Having been in the Mediterranean all his career, he'll probably take some time to acclimatise. The idea of shipping Benalouane out as part of the deal would make some sense though, particularly since Wasilewski seems to have overtaken him - and the management team are meeting to discuss Liam Moore's future.
Not a bad looking deal, but a complicated one and one for the future rather than the present.

Gray has been confirmed by the way - done deal. He isn't being loaned back to Birmingham either. Welcome Demerai!

Glad we've got Gray signed up so early on, nicely and efficiently done before anyone else could scupper the deal.
Incidentally I think it's significant that the club chose to highlight this in their story about him signing - "in September 2015, he operated on the left wing alongside young City defender Ben Chilwell for the Under-20s against the Czech Republic".
Think we're looking at a bright future combination down the left-hand side there...
