Good business if he goes - nice lad but not quite good enough for Rangers.

Get a small fee for him maybe, save a wage. He's only ever going to be a squad player/sub at best - and that's in the Scottish Championship. He'd not get game time with us in SPL. Maybe Barnsley see something in him which we don't

He was the type of player we all wanted Ally to sign rather than has beens.

Probably tried too hard to force the goals and it hasn't worked out for him.

With a decent run of games I'm sure he'll do a decent job for someone, just not at a big club where the pressure is on all the time.
