HAD A GOOD GAME....maybe a few nerves....but overall as above certainly didn't look out of place.

Yeah there were a few nerves I noticed with some questionable back passes. Eurosport had him down as man of the match

I'm surprised that anyone other than a Leicester fan would have him down as MOTM. Wasilewski, King or Okazaki for me (at least from our team).

Incidentally, I've seen a few people criticising Wasilewski for his yellow card early on. I thought it was to his credit: Benalouane had done a loose header and De Laet was asleep on the other side of him; Wasilewski needed to do something and so he did.

I also thought there were worse challenges that received no card so maybe a bit harsh, still good old Wasi even took RDL as well for being asleep!

TB - I'm not doubting for a moment that it was a booking! But sometimes a player has to take one for the team and unfortunately Benalouane and De Laet conspired to put him in that position. Where it almost cost us was that a Spurs player (I forget which) was able to drift past him a few minutes later as Was knew that he couldn't put a tackle in because if he got it wrong he was gone. De Laet just saved it with a tackle but if they'd scored from that then it would have come from the errors a few minutes earlier.

As I've put elsewhere, I thought the referee had a good game on Sunday (the penalty call I'd back him either way). The only time I thought he should have waved the yellow was at Dele Alli with his surprising, needless and petulant barge on Chilwell. I wonder if he does that kind of thing often? If he keeps that attitude through his career then he'll see more than his fair share of red cards.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned when Wasi charged into their half charging down their centre half with the ball, almost expected him to 'spear him'

Was brilliant on loan for us. The concensus amongst the lads I know who go home and away is that he could well be a future England international.

Shame we didn't have him for longer.

Wasilewski is the scariest footballer ever. At Bury away in the league cup, about 2,000 Bury fans was abusing one of our players and Wasi walked over to them. To a man they went silent and sat down.

He has the ability to take on 2,000 grown men and take them down with one look.

I liked the look of chillwell. Was happy to see him in the line up but was half expecting him to get a good ragging but he looked calm, composed with genuine ability both defensively and in advance positions. Hope he continues to develop - if.he does then we've got a gem in our ranks
