Dougie's first 12 months.....

With the state of embargo, most of dougies signing HAD to work, otherwise we wouldn't have enough room to save ourselves.

Saying that, good runs, bad runs aside, he's done astute business, solidified us at the back, micromanaged players to limit injuries, bleeding in youth, and he's kept us (atguably) within sniffing distance of the playoffs.

Wish he subbed players earlier though.

7.5/10 for me. He is not one to get over-excited and chase games, which has led to many dull encounters, but he has also got the club into a relatively comfortable position in the table so be deserves credit for that under the circumstances. Hasn't been afraid to tell it like it is with the tales of Ebicilio's lack of effort and also freezing a poorly performing Fox out of the squad.

It will be interesting to see what approach he takes in the summer should the shackles of the embargo break off. He appears to have a fairly decent scouting network set up looking at the majority of his signings.

Well he did hurt my feelings

I would give Dougie a "B" so far, he's working in difficult circumstances and after a shaky period is doing slightly better. But because of the bad run, is around par.

Careful with the name changes Basingstoke, despite it being fairly easy to work out who you are still; WAGBO believes it's some sort of shrewd attempt to hide your identity from Derby fans and he gets his detective hat on. Used to blow his tiny little mind when I used to change every so often.

Good grief, you'd think Derby were in a relegation battle the way their fans are at the moment, talk about losing perspective. Well perhaps after years on neglect perspective packed it's bags and jetted off to the other side of the world.
