It sounds like Pool did not do enough to persuade Teixeira, he was offered a better deal in China, so he sounds like a bit of a mercenary and this is probably a bullet dodged for Pool.

It sounds like Pool were not prepared to meet the transfer fee or his wage demands, not surprising when they are paying Milner 140K a week and Sturridge 150K, their wage bill must be massive already.

Bullet dodged imo, it`s a lot of money for a fairly standard player who can not even get a game for the worst Brazilian team in decades.

That Flani Alves goal though, can't ever forget it. Spurs had been tanking us often but this time we were 2-0 up, was it?
