Ipswich Are the longest serving member of the Championship, having played at the second tier since 2002-03 season. They made the play offs last season but lost to bitter rivals Norwich at the semi final stages.
This season looks like they will maintain that record, because, like Huddersfield Town they are fast becoming a mid table team..
They’ll be looking at addressing their slump in form with a trip to Huddersfield, where they have a mixed recent record.

I could talk about the Marcus Stewart story, but its been done a few times so I won’t.
If we can win this game we’ll be into the 40’s points wise ( still in February ) !
I predict another closely fought game with our Town coming out on top 2-1.
Points in the bag, as in March we have Burnley & Reading at home, & Derby and L**Ds away.. surley we are due a win against that lot.. .

I know were your coming from darn
I was brought up in slawit the most western tip of hudders and most of my mates support man united..city..and liverpool...out of a group of around 40 people only 4 of us followed town and attended matches....yet come wembley,cardiff,,old trafford they are all there...meks me sick!
Think thats why i have a big hatred for man u due to their plastic fans with no affinity to the area
I actually want leeds to win when playing them...at least most leeds fans are from leeds

It should be compulsory to support the town or city you were born in. That way, you would be born either blessed or set for a lifetime of dross, regarding watching the quality of football. 😝

4 weeks for my 'Jollies' .
Although right NOW... we could do with some SNOW here,
I was at 'that' game Walt. literally 'Waltzing in't Cowshed , Although to be honest, there wasn't much 'Waltzing' that particular day.
The Stretford enders had infiltrated our sacred end that day. A very unpleasant atmosphere indeed.
It pains me to say this, (where have you heard comments like this before )
TOWN played ok that day too.. Just couldn't hold out, & conceded two shockers that shouldn't have happened. Lost so many games that season by the solitary goal. or so it seemed.
After town went darn....
the following season I was by then 'an apprentice'.
4 HORROR seasons followed, But we still kept going & I remember the big song at the time being "We'll support you ever More"...
I quit being a 'regular' after a disastrous 4th division away game at Southport.. they beat us 3-1, It was the low point, the 4 of us who were left of our little clan pulled the plug.
Remember, Just 5 or 6 seasons before we'd been playing all the top clubs & seeing the best players of the times.... Very hard to take.
But HYDY will remember this Character.
