Title Run In Predictions - Spurs/Leicester

Below are my predictions for the run-in. I have tried to be honest and in doing so I have surprised myself by predicting Spurs could overhaul Leicester!

There are 3 key assumptions in my predictions; that Leicester will draw 3 out of the remaining 9 games and will lose to Sunderland (big shout I know), West Ham and Chelsea.

I think Spurs will lose to Chelsea and Stoke and will win 6 out of the remaining 9 games.

Leicester Current points 60

Newcastle - home win 3
Palace - Away draw 1
Southampton - home draw 1
Sunderland - Away Lose 0
West Ham - Home Lose 0
Swansea - Home win 3
Man U - Away draw 1
Everton - Home Win 3
Chelsea - Away Lose 0

Total Points 72

Spurs Current points 55

Villa - Away win 3
Bournemouth - Home win 3
Liverpool - Away draw1
Man U - Home win 3
Stoke - Away lose 0
West Brom - Home win 3
Chelsea - Away lose 0
Southampton - Home win 3
Newcastle - Away win 3

Total Points 74

Too early for me to make predictions yet. Two teams with barely any title run-in experience between them, and lots of variables with the fixtures.

What you'd want going forward is to face teams in mid-table no-mans land; teams who are a lead safe and have no chance to qualify for Europe. Looking at the table right now, it seems to me that only WBA, Everton and Watford (39, 38 and 37 points) fit into that bracket.

Chelsea and upwards will probably still believe they can qualify for Europe (7 points behind United in 6th) so that will be something to aim for, and Swansea, Palace and Bournemouth are probably still searching for those 3-5 points they'll want to satisfy themselves that they're safe (33, 33 and 35 points).

That can all change within the next few weeks obviously which could have a big impact on how the fixtures appear to Spurs and Leicester.... As well as Arsenal and city.

Leicester have only lost 5 matches in their last 38. Why would they lose 3 or 5 in the next 9?

I did a prediction table a few days ago and ended up with Spurs, Leicester and Arsenal all on 72 points. Spurs winning on GD.

Is there some sort of science that dictates a team should win, draw or lose at some sort of specific correlation based on what's gone on before it?

Using your comment, Leicester would have been relegated last season.

and we all expected to beat relegation threatened Pompey in that cup semi final and 3 points against Newcastle at home this season was a given. There is also no way that Swansea will win at woolwich.

Why waste time with predictions does anybody know how many injuries Spurs and Leicester will pick up over the next few games? Nope.

As the managers say take it one game at a time and I would advise the same with predictions as injuries and current form are so relevant.

My prediction is Leicester will win Premier League this season and it wouldn't surprise me if Arsenal finished above us yet again! It would be a travesty if we didn't finish in top 4, we fecked up in 2006 and 2012 but having both Alderweireld and Alli playing in all remaining league fixtures should see us through.

Sir Tottenham of Hotspur

If we don't beat Villa we may as well all pack up and go home they are blooming awful.

If Villa beat us we won't even finish in top 4!

Those predos are deluded. So Leicester will pick up 12 points from 9 games while Spurs pick up 19? There's nothing to suggest this might happen, looking at the season as a whole.

Oh so let`s get this right, the OP has asked for predictions, and within five minutes of those predictions, you come on the board in all your wisdom and tell everybody they are wrong. The time to come on with ridicule or praise is surely at the end of the season, when the predictions will be either proved right or wrong.
Now if you are so damning in your assessments of the predictions thus far, how about you putting your ballllls on the line and predict yourself. Other than that just feckkk off.

Already did. Spurs IMO will have fallen out of the title race by the last three games. Arsenal and City will finish above them but Spurs CL spot won't be under threat. <OK>
