Ludicrous that they didn't have ticketing facilities at the new ground. Fans had to travel 20km to the old ground to buy tickets!!!
And they didn't even bother to tell the ICC so they could put something on their website for fans.
And there were only about 100 fans there anyway.
Glad I wasn't tempted to go.

It was 20km, so only a 40 minute auto rickshaw ride away. They should just have let them in for free as only 100 were there

Lefty, you were given a chance. You had one comment deleted by a mod and another by me. You just don't want to be a reasonable person.

well, I guess the mods considered it offensive, abusive or something. You can't always blame someone else for your foul mouth.

Most of your comments tend to be abusive, rude or off topic. The mods delete the abusive, rude ones and I delete the banter free off topic ones.

Scotland exited the World Twenty20 with their captain criticising the lack of opportunities for associate nations while the tournament was dogged by yet another ticketing fiasco.
Scotland lost the second of their group games when they were beaten by Zimbabwe and can now not qualify for the Super Ten stage, the round when the main nations join the competition.
Their defeat was played out in front of thousands of empty seats in Nagpur as yet another paltry crowd turned out to watch a group game involving two minnows.
But the handful of Scottish fans who had made the trip to India were left incensed when they were refused entry to the ground.

Around 200 Scotland fans were turned away from the VCA Stadium because they were told it has no facilities for selling tickets. They were told to go to the old VCA stadium to buy tickets which is in the centre of Nagpur and a long way from the new ground, forcing many to miss the majority of the match.
It was another embarrassing episode for the tournament organisers at the Indian board who only put tickets on sale late last month and earlier this week had to shift the iconic fixture between Pakistan and India from Dharmasala to Kolkata over security fears.
The International Cricket Council have been left bewildered by ticketing for the tournament but have no control over events, with the BCCI in charge of arrangements.
Scotland have struggled with the pitches in India and have now lost all 20 matches they have played in ICC tournaments.
But their captain, Preston Mommsen, hit out at the lack of opportunities for associate nations to play against the more established countries, crucial for accelerating their progress. "I do go on about it, but there is a lack of international cricket for us. Since the 2015 World Cup I have played in one ODI match - in 12 months,” he said.
“So, you tell me how I'm going to improve my skills and develop as a cricketer. That definitely has something to do with it. Playing under pressure, being exposed to a higher level of skill, exposed to different conditions, you know it all adds up, every little percentage. You know unfortunately that's just the way it is and we try and handle it in the best way we can. However, it probably does take its toll.”
