Billy Davies

Very interesting article / interview here with Billy Davies

Do any of you agree with him regarding a whispering campaign? Or is he still portraying delusional tendencies?

I suspect the actual truth is probably somewhere in the middle

Someone is trying very hard to make it look like he's re-employable!

Obviously looking for a job in jock-land.

It's fairly obvious that Fawaz has only recently paid him off.

He can't hack the pressure, in some ways just like Nigel Pearson toward the end of his reign at Leicester City couldn't.

It will be a brave and foolish chairman that gives the wee devil a job!

The stats however speak for themselves

There is no doubt he has the ability to motivate a team and get them playing good, passionate football whilst also getting the results - his stats prove that.

The question is are you prepared to take all the other baggage the so often seem to come along with him also

As a tactician and footballing manager - he's the best we've had here in the past 15 years without a doubt - but as a man and his personality...the baggage etc - he's one of the worst

i agreewith the guy who clearly isn't Rev.

Great manager on the pitch who had the team playing good football and brought the crowd together.

However off it, especially in his second spell, he lost it.

However, I do think that the press did have a part to play in his attitude towards them as the local press still hate him, but Billy played it the wrong way and in the end, they got their way.

Will not hate the guy though as some Forest fans now try to say he is the worst manager we have had which clearly isn't true.

Just needed to take a step back from butting heads with the media and he may have got on a whole let better in his second spell. Can't feel sorry for him as he had everything set up ready to hav a real go at this league but he squandered it. Both him and Forest are paying the price.

He was very good in first spell but we weren't a good side in his second spell apart from a 7 or 8 game run including the FA cup. So although he was brilliant first time round, he was poor 2nd time and deserved to be sacked even without the mental fit.

That 3-1 FA cup loss at Sheff Utd showed he couldn't handle the big occasion. If FawZ had made a change then, the 5-0 hammering by the Sheep may have been avoided...
