Newcastle & Barcelona

Hello

Firstly, who do you want to win tonight? On one hand, a Newcastle win gives us quite a big push in our bid to catch Leicester and will surely ramp up the pressure on them however looking at the table and fixtures there is a very good reason Spurs are 2nd favourites for the league at this point, which would be unbearable.

Secondly, do we have even a sliver of a chance at Camp Nou? Still a bit gutted about the first leg, really think it was going well until a moment of craziness with half the team pushing up.

Don't think we have any choice but to play our strongest XI, just park that bus solidly and lump the ball to Welbeck and Walcott and hope they can draw a red card or nick a goal on the break or something! That being said, I'd be tempted to rest Ozil, just don't think it's his sort of game, he is looking increasingly tired and we certainly need him for the lunchtime game vs Everton!

I am really convinced we will at least finish above spurs. They have regressed in the last few weeks and although they are still getting points i sense the bubble is about to burst. Villa dont count as they arent a premier league team atm, shame we dont have them untill the last game of the season. They will be tested against Bournemouth in their next game.

Therefore we want a Newcastle win. Personally i think with Rafa they are likely to draw 0-0 tonight

If ending above Spurs give you any consolation so let it be

yeah seems pretty nailed on that, doubt he's had much time to work with the team but new manager effect should be enough to get a point.

Not really sure about Spurs, they have been great offensively all season they are just really consistent and solid at the back.

Think we can finish above them but probably need to beat 2 of Everton, City and West Ham away from home, which is a massive ask

Chelsea play Leicester last game of the season, I wonder if us or Spurs had a chance at the league if they would just let Leicester win.

Would be an interesting conundrum for Chelsea if they had to beat Leicester to get CL next year, at the same time win the league for Spurs or Arsenal!!

The league was lost on the opening day at home to West Ham. You knew from that day we would all gloss over it for a while and that, but deep down starting the season like that is not on and would lead to future upset.

Ironically Leicester will win the league and Arsenal took 6 points off em...

so we can talk that up in months to come in preperation for another season of optimism which will fail like so many others....

Leicester and Spurs winning the league is like a toss up between Cancer (Spurs) and Aids (Leicester). If push comes to shove Aids it is

You're a horrific individual.

So you'd choose cancer then?

You're in a weird position. If Leicester drop points tonight.....

A win at Everton could put you bang in the mix, and pile the pressure on them and us.

A loss to Everton will either see you either drop to 4th with a City point v United, or United closing the gap to 2pts, or possibly 5th with a West Ham win at Chelsea, and a potential 9pt gap to 2nd.

Never know with Arsenal. It wouldn't surprise me if you won it!!

I think Spurs are going to win it.

Mass suicide anybody?
