Alonso was lucky there

I thought he was a gonna when I watched the crash

Was a superb race. Going to be a great season

Will watch the highlights later

Did ferrari look close enough to make it interesting

Wait for the highlights and make your judgement.

My thoughts on the race:

Hard to believe how Alonso was able to walk away from what little was left of his car.

I like the extra tactical choices having 3 compounds available is giving teams. Not sure Hamilton would have been able to climb back as high without the extra option.

It looks like Mercedes have a problem with starting, Rosberg and Hamilton were both slow getting away from the line.

Ferrari are still a little slower than Mercedes on race pace, but definitely closer than last year.

Hamilton seemed to have real trouble overtaking. May have been that old problem with 'dirty air' affecting the following car
