Recently got a new car but it doesn't have a cd player.
Has inputs for mp3 player and a usb port.
I have amazon cloud and downloaded the app to my phone but the stuff on there wont play, I think copyright issues, though I can play it in the house.
Got a memory stick but many are coming up "file protected".
Anyone else have this and know a way around it?
Thanks.

Make sure you have a car charger as using Bluetooth will suck yer phone dry

Yeah its probably to do with formats. I get 'file protected' in my car but the same file plays once converted to a different format.

Could it be something to do with memory size? Apparently my car can only handle a 4 GB memory stick (not tried anything larger, it might still work).
Alternative answer would be to download the music from a torrent site, then there won't be any protection on the files. You see folk doing that with video games where they have hugely restrictive DRM - anti-piracy stuff is actually turning people to piracy.

Just buy a CD player that sits on the dashboard like the 90's
