Round 39: Bolton vs Reading

Sorry this is a but late up, we've had stocktake at work and I almost forgot we play this weekend!

Team News

Bolton winger Wellington Silva will miss the visit of Reading with a groin strain.

Striker Emile Heskey is recovering from a hip problem while Dorian Dervite and Ben Amos (both ankle), and Max Clayton (hamstring) remain absent.

Reading midfielder Michael Hector and winger Hal Robson-Kanu are doubtful for the Royals.

Hector sustained a knock playing for Jamaica and Robson-Kanu picked up an injury against Cardiff.

Predictions

0-1 Reading, Vydra

Will it be a problem up front without Heskey and Madine? I doubt it as they haven't been on fire all season. So I should be going for a loss against Reading but I'm going for an unexpected win. With Clough, Woolery and a possible blooding of Alex Samizadeh from the under 18s squad, I am foolishly putting my faith in our youth.

A big ask but I would like to see Samizadeh get a chance up front with Woolery and Clough on the bench. I don't really expect that to happen but at least we have three youngsters who should be full of running and enthusiasm. So 2-1 to Bolton with Clough to be the first scorer.

I would like a fairy tale ending to the season.
