Brace yourselves....!

I think tomorrows game is our toughest by far that we have left and I actually think we will drop points. I don't see that as a negative but more the reality that in a title race both Leicester and Spurs will drop points in the run in. My thoughts about the game tomorrow, not sure if anyone agrees -

1. We are at home. In the title run in, this is more of a hinderence to us than a help. Why? Because I think our fans are too nervous. They were poor against Newcastle and the anxiety at 0-0 was feeding through to the players who put in a below par performance. Infact our recent home results haven't been quite as good as the away ones.

2. Ronald Koeman. This guy knows how to spoil a party (remember when he knocked England out of qualifying for the World Cup as a player?). He's a very clever manager and he loves the big occasions. He's already playing the mind games and making out that Leicester are afraid of Southampton. Tactically he is incredibly astute

3. Southamptons players. They're very very good. Mane is back to his best, pelle is scoring again and they have something to prove after losing a 2-0 lead to us at home.

4. Tottenham will win. They have a bad record at anfield but that's irrelevant now. They like being the chasing team and Liverpool have one eye on the Dortmund game

All of this sounds like doom and gloom but it's not meant to be because I firmly believe we will win the title now.

The next 4 games have Leicester playing first which puts all the pressure on Spurs. We have seen before that they don't handle the pressure that well (West Ham for eg)

After this match it gets a lot better for us. We like playing West Ham, their style suits us, Sunderland are poor, Swansea as well. Spurs face Southampton themselves as well as Chelsea, United, west Brom.

Brace yourselves though because like excitable school kids, Spurs will think they have it sewn up after this weekend, only to bottle it once again in the weeks to come
