Dire!
That is what today's performance was. I went to the game today and I can honestly say it was IMO the worse game of the season. I am not going to go over the match itself as the less said about it the better, but there was absolutely no fight, creativity or passion in the game and it was scary to see.
In fact I think the players performance today epitomised the mood at the club at the moment - disillusioned!
From top to bottom the club is in complete disarray:
Is Fawaz staying or going?
Who is he going to appoint as our next manager?
Will he ever appoint a CEO?
Who is going to score our next goal?
Are we even safe this year?
What does the future hold?
All these questions are floating around the club and all have potentially worrying answers. Fawaz is into his 4th season as owner and each season has got worse and worse with our average of dropping 4 places continuing.
No one can question him, getting rid of Dougie has doomed our season and now we are at a point where the fans are starting to have enough as the players clearly have.
There isn't much more to say except what a mess we are in and what a joke of a situation Fawaz has created in four seasons.
It starts to beg the question, is Fawaz our worst ever owner?
What a Joke!

Davies would be poison. No two ways about it. I'd rather Clough had a go.

It's a term used a bit where people were doing the Twitter equivalent of slapping FAH on the back, saying what a superb job he is doing and getting angry at any criticism.
GLO = Greatest Living Owner.

Agree with you ray that the situation is never going to be sorted under Fawaz. He clearly cannot allow anyone else have any control over the club and that is why we will never have a chief executive who is allowed to do their job without interference.

I assume, or rather hope that Walker going out on loan to Burton Albion is linked to the appointment of our next manager.
I wouldn't want NLN in normal circumstances, but these aren't normal circumstances.
We might well be in the 1st Division next season. If Burton win promotion, would Clough be stupid enough to leave them and come to us, knowing he was likely to be sacked before 18 months have past?
The situation just becomes worse, the more one looks at it unfortunately.
The reality is nutters attract other nutters.

Probably the best way of putting it bear.
As I have said a few times now, I do not think protests against the owner is far away as the fans have had enough.
This is the most disinterested I have been with Forest since I started supporting them. We are a boat without a rudder heading towards oblivion and have a captain who will not allow us to do anything to change our course.

I fear the more things go wrong, the more the GLO will batten down the hatches and adopt a siege mentality. He clearly doesn't react positively to constructive criticism. I fear he is really scratching around for a new manager and will be panicking about an impending relegation battle, everything crossed in the hope that his utterly demoralised squad of players can fluke a couple of results to ward off MK Dons.

RFB, GLO is off the scale sarcasm wise, and I'm using it because I'm totally past the point of thinking things will ever change under him

A thing that concerns me is that I don't trust GLO to make the correct decisions for the club even when he doesn't eventually walk away. I believe that not converting a bit of the most recent loss to equity is a sign of that. Let's face it they are never going to get the money they have loaned the club (much of wasted) anyway, but maybe he thinks he can through either saddling debt with future owners or a high asking price. The longer that plays out, the higher the debt gets
As he's a life long fan, he of course would realise what is best eventually and sell with good will and luck for the future on any new owners.
It's going to be a mess, and those of his support that remain will blame fellow fans for driving GLO out when realistically he's made a total hash of things.
