TV Programme last Night

There was a great tv programme on last night on BBC2 that gave me some great ideas for de-stressing in the work place or home. This was definitely needed during our epic journey through the leagues, especially when mcdowell was in charge

The programme was called "Employable me" and is on the iplayer in the link below:
http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b076vfqz/employable-me-episode-3

One of the ideas I picked up on was purchasing a museum replica of an 18 gauge riveted steel medieval knights helmet that can be worn when things get too stressful!

For instance, when things in the office or at home get a bit much, too noisy, too overwhelming etc, then you can just pop the helmet on for a couple of minutes, chill out, then go back to what you were doing! The guy in the TV programme seemed to give it the thumbs up.

Plus there was a girl in the programme that had tourettes. Very nice person and looks like she has a good job now which is good. However, she would come out with expletives of the type that I myself was shouting constantly when Mcdowell was in charge of the team.

Check out the program when you get a chance. I think every old firm fan needs one of these, especially in the days after a defeat

This programme was about people trying to get on in a world that judges them without any understanding of any condition they have. A bit like this thread really

I have a son with autism. Life is/will be very difficult for him to deal with as it is. Are you going to be someone who makes his life more difficult, or are you going to help make his life a wee bit more bearable.

See that's the problem nowadays. Every opportunity someone gets they turn things around to be offended.

Read the words. No disrespect to anyone in the programme. It was the idea of the hat a thought was brilliant.

The people on the show I did not have any issues with. I said it was a great show. One thing I did not saw which I mean genuinely is that I would employ them without any issues.

Wind your neck in, I don't go in for discrimination, I judge people as I find them. And I thought idea of the helmet was class. I also think it was a a tv programme worth checking out as I said. End of.

G3r5fan (U6067), i think both parties here can be forgiven. I can't begin to imagine how protective show is over his son, which is probably reflected in his comment.

I understand. It's fair enough. The only reason I referenced the actual tv show is because I can't upload a pic of the museum helmet. It was something else. If I could have put the pic up I would not have referenced it.

To be fair , it was a great tv programme that as show said did high light discrimination which I totally agree is unfair and unjustified. It seemed to end in good news for the folk trying to get a job which again I thought was good news.

Anyway prob not one of my better posts in hind sight. Fair enough.
