That game was a marker. The era of United is over. Get used to the thrashings and rapes. (If Jose gets the job then I take it back, but for now its LAMU

Get a proper manager in and1 or 2 of these top top players we have been bidding for for the last 3 seasons and we'll be back challenging.

Re: OP
Been over for a long time.
when the likes of welbeck, cleverley, Rafael, Fabio, januzaj, coco, martial, rashford, Herrera, lingard, varela etc., are described (as they have been) in terms as voluminous as 'the next big thing' or 'the worlds greatest', then the, so-called, fans have clearly reached lower levels of expectation than myself. And/or they have developed an acceptance of the mantra that new is good.
LCFC have demonstrated more than anything else this season exactly what MUFC's problems are.
For a start, too much emphasis is placed on the cult of personality for it to be healthy in a team sport and it is coming back to plague, with a vengeance, many clubs throughout the EPL. Weak, characterless, unintelligent, clueless players are no good for structuring a team around. And there have been far, FAR, too many of them recently to have not gone without my notice. I have made it clear in the past that I do not respect, nor care about, the opinions of idiots on these boards, but their ridiculous ramblings and support for sub-standard dross does not, and has not, helped.
This greatest of sports club needs proper team focused footballers to build around, a return to consistency of direction and management and the desire to set and buck trends, rather than follow them.
