Morning All, several news sources last night were reporting that Nigel Pearson will link up with Chris Powell and take the Aston Villa job in the summer.
The Telegraph report that Pearson and Powell have been in talks with Villa for sometime but I've no idea if anything has been agreed contractually yet
The Sun ran a report two days ago that the search for a new manager at Forest is on hold amidst a reported sale of the club to the owner of Olympiacos but this has not been reported anywhere else.
Interesting move for Pearson who has worked with Powell for a long time. He was spotted at the Forest ground recently but apparently that was to track progress of Gardner.

Considering I didn't comment during most of the day I assume that the quality would be more up to Trevor's standards if I had. It's nice of him to put in the team reading them in order to provide a critique of it all though.

Owd Rev reverting back to his previous account just encouraging Trevor - as if he needs any....
