I've heard a few mention being Real all times scorer probably means more to him than trophies and that wouldn't surprise me either.
It is just guesswork and we can't tell everything from his on the pitch personality but he does seem the type who cares more for individual prestige.

Which is why a couple of years more with Ferguson would have helped him for me SAF.
Might sound ridiculous given his record, but had he toned that down a bit, he could have been even better than he has been.

For once i am with the City fans here: why do some united fans feel the need to invade and partake in this onanism with CR as the object of desire.
Personally, i wish City the best of luck and frankly hope they be a Real.
