The wheel has not fallen off yet, but as the games roll on our chances of Autos are getting thinner. The Brewers have almost been gifted an Auto spot over the last few weeks, but have failed to take any advantage of other teams losses. I went to Scunthorpe and to be honest we would not have scored, if we played till midnight.
That is the Worry if other teams score first, the Brewers struggle to get back into the game for any kind of a fightback.
NC seems hell bent on giving some younger players a shot which is OK, but a whole match over some of our more experienced players is to much for me.
NC not bringing in more firepower in January is now beginning to show and relying on Beavon to much is now having an effect on form.
I am saying all this now as most fans are thinking this, but what we all want is some kind of a reaction from the players and NC, showing us they want this.
hard for me to predict this one, heart or head ?

totally agree with you JFW should have bought others in in January I think the wheels have fallen off, defeat to barnsley and we can forget any hopes of promotion they need to take a leaf out of Liverpools book, going the opposite to you and going for a win 2-1 to the Albion

It's beginning to feel like 2009 all over again. I just don't feel confident we're going to maintain our position in the top 2, so I'm going for:

Hopefully they'll prove me wrong and this time tomorrow things will look more rosy.

I agree that signings in January may have helped but on the face of it we were only missing some firepower upfront and Bennett and Walker came in on loans. I do not think that we were or are short at the back or in midfield. Our problem over the last 2 seasons has been our inability to score many goals. The strong defence has enabled us to sneak many wins but lately they have not looked infallible.
I am hoping for a turnaround in form but I can't really see it coming. However I will let my heart rule my head and I will go for a 1.0 Brewers win today and on Tuesday.

First things first, the table. A personal nightmare as the last thing I want to do, having struggled to hold this together over the winter, is to win the thing! But everyone else went for wins and draws at Scunthorpe so I have inherited top spot by default!

I too was watching Liverpool on Thursday and for the first hour was trying to draw positives from watching the team in black and yellow dominate the team in red. When it got to 3-2 I thought, that will do for my prediction on Saturday. A hard fought tussle but normal order restored with the 'favourites' coming out on top. So do I stick with this, or do what Klopp did and twist for a dramatic late 4-3 for the reds?
Still dreaming of outings to the Ipro, Molyneux, Elland Road, Villa Park, St James' Park, St Andrews.......

I agree with all that's been said. It's going to be a nail biter of a season end, just like when we went up to the League in 2009-10.
I usually go with my heart, but my head's telling me we'll lose this one, as there are doubts about Stuart Beavon's fitness.
So though it greatly pains me, I'm going to have to go with:
