Impressive...

Whats making me so happy today isn't even the win. It was job done for me as soon as 90 minutes were up. To have not only pushed the 'champs elect' to the wire but to have done it in such a commanding way. We passed them off the park, our possession was as stated at HT 'Barcelona-esque' (though some might question when he'd started drinking), and it was always Celtic scrambling to get back into the game. We also matched them stride for stride for fitness which is a huge credit to the boys and coaching team. Even if we'd have lost, that would have been the upset and well against the run of play. We were the better team and have made a huge statement for next year.

Course, the win is something more than just a cherry on top.

And the funniest thing. It was us who were missing our 'star' performers. No Waghorn, O'Halloran, Forrester. Add their inclusion (let alone new signings) and next year is not looking so rosy for the reigning champs.

(heres for what is probably my last article in the "Scottish League" section. Feels good.)

Oh, plus, who else is thinking that Cummings is now virtually guaranteed European football next year?

(Not that I'm too keen after the Pirlo/Prat dink yesterday)

If we are rumoured to be after Cummings what makes you think Stubbs will sell to rangers.
