After our well-deserved win on Saturday against Blackburn we are on the road again to Rotherham where we come up against our old manager Neil Warnock. I like Warnock and will never forget how he led us to promotion in his final season with us. But I much prefer the style of football we are playing under Wagner; it’s definitely easier on the eye and much more entertaining. In fact I like everything about Wagner at the moment, his passion, drive and will to win rather than playing for a draw.
Warnock has more or less assured the safety of Rotherham for this season, and all credit to him as they looked relegation bound before he took over. We are also safe, technically I know we need one more point but can anyone honestly see MK getting 4 straight wins and us not picking up another point? I can’t. So we can go into tomorrow’s game on a high and enjoy what is left of the season.
Rotherham are on a good run at the moment, as can be seen by their last 6 results, but all good runs have to end sometime so why not tomorrow night?
I thought some of our players were looking a bit tired on Saturday but my son who is not as nice as me said that some look like they are already on their holidays, a comment aimed mainly at Harry Bunn. Lolley also looked tired, after all it’s been a big step up from a bit part player to starting just about every game. Perhaps it’s time to bring Scannell back and use Lolley from the bench?
Van La Parra looked good again on Saturday so I imagine he’ll start but in all honesty I really have no idea what the team will be. If Paterson is fit he might figure in some capacity, Dempsey has recovered from injury so again he might be involved but whichever team Wagner puts out I expect them to play for the win. Personally I would be happy with the draw, and the point that makes us mathematically safe.
After saying that I’m backing us to win 2-1, Wells to get both
See you in Rotherham

Division 3 defender from Germany... 😨

Who's he gonna replace, Cranie/Hudson

Just seen that, playing in the third tier in Germany and playing to 30,000 crowds, that doesn't add up. Are the gates that high over there? I know they are in the top tier, but third tier?
What I evaluated from Wagner's comments is that he will continue with squad rotation. So another unsettled team next season to look forward to ladies and gentlemen.

I've now watched the video of Michael Hefele and he is very, very excited to play for Huddersfield Town. The lad is chomping at the bit, he can't wait for next season to start. I just hope he doesn't think he can clatter in to opponents without the ref blowing. It must be a nightmare playing in Germany if the refs are blowing the whistle for any mediocre challenge. You'd never see that in the English game!
So, two new defenders in, just need another one. Also another striker and a pacey central attacking midfielder and the wishlist wll then be complete.

Watched the highlights of the Rotherham match. Was their goal over the line?
Nahki took his goal well, but could and should have scored again. When he beat the defender in the box, who also slipped, Wells could have cut in and lashed the ball in to the net, rather than shooting from a tricky angle, which the keeper saved.

Could we have the score on the doors please UTG?
