What an awesome team they are! I just looked at their actual starting team and there ain't many superstar players. Honestly, all they got is Griezmann and even he ain't all that great. I mean, he's pretty damn good, but not on that Neymar level.
They're so awesome the way they take down better teams. Barcelona then Bayern... I just hope City can find a way to beat them if they reach the final. They're totally rock solid, but City have great attacking players so it'll be a good match-up.
So yeah, what do you dudes all think of Atletico and can City beat them in the final? If Atletico make it that is.

What is a superstar? Godin is one of the best CBs, Luis one of the best LBs, Griezmann one of the best forwards.
Then Oblak is a talented goalkeeper and in midfield they have very good players in Koke and Saul. Leicester have shown you can achieve something great without superstar names. Atletico are similar but have a much higher quality.
Firstly everyone works hard, very organised and disciplined but theyve definitely got the quality as you saw with Sauls goal.

Plus their concentration levels are top notch, to concede as much possession as they do and have to defend like they do, without conceding hardly any goals (16 in the league this season) is incredible

Hope Atletico win it. They deserve it tbh

Wouldn't mind a city , ath final.
But given the the choice I've love them to do the pretty boys in the final.
Robbed before, deserved now.

the OP seems to assume city will make the final
R Madrid are favs to make it..not city
not many teams go to Bernabeu in the 2nd leg of a euro tie and come away with anything

Would be the stuff of legends for them if they won it from here, more so if they beat Madrid in the final.
Barça, current treble champs in the QFs
Bayern - the team that beat them in the 74 final, for the semis
Madrid - getting ven in the final with the age-old enemy who beat them in the 2014 final
