Arsenal lucky to have Arsene Wenger

"When we built the stadium the banks demanded that I signed for five years," said the 66-year-old Frenchman.

"Do you want me to say how many clubs I turned down during that period?"

Construction began on the £390m Emirates Stadium in 2004, the year Wenger won the last of his three league titles with the club.

"The banks wanted the technical consistency to guarantee that we have a chance to pay them back," added Wenger, who has been in charge of the north Londoners since 1996.
...........
Even banks are a better judge of a manager than Arsenal fans. Once Wenger goes finishing outside top 4 will be the norm. I said before Wenger has put Arsenal financially many years ahead of Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs would have had a new stadium many years ago if they had Wenger level of manager. Anyway when Wenger goes I expect Arsenal to rarely finish in top 4. You could say about 12 years ahead of Tottenham Hotspur:
"Spurs, who are also due to move into their new 61,000-seater stadium in 2018."

And many will not know that when you won, you got 2 points for a win.

91 <whistler> It changed, let me ask you hafi, would that have altered champions in the subsequent years?

It's no use igor. He can make a thread about world peace oe finding the cure to cancer.

He'd still relate it to how many shots United had against Wigan in 2007.

Has he ever heard of Google, or if you goggle hafi you get Google.

Santi is back. Anyway Wenger has constantly got out of the group stage so its not that bad.

Cech already made 2 big saves against Norwich City. De Gea has kept 3 clean sheets in his last 3 home premierleague games making 2 saves. I don't get why media always make a big deal about every save by DDG yet Cech makes a lot more most games like the norm.
