Don't need to click on this to know what it is....I was looking for it yesterday online but couldn't find it, so thank you. He is a new Leicester fan, something we are going to have to get used to as we reign in the glory hunters from their voyages back to their homeland.

He represents a typical "wenger out" new arsenal fan tbh. He has all the physical and mental characteristics I would anticipate with this group.

I've got no time for turn coats (he said he used to be an Arsenal supporter!) I'm a Gooner, for better or worse!

Basically. Hence why you get a great number of African or third world fans with that opinion, as well as the dregs of western society.

What are your reasons for sticking with Wenger Godfather?

Opening up a can of worms with that question. ok here goes.
He has one year left on his contract and we have a quality group of players now so its set up nicely for his final year with one or two of the right aquisitions (Need a top class striker imo) If he doesnt suceed he will leave along with a few players i expect and the squad will go through something of an upheaval
Our team are inching closer and closer to success imo. People say this has been our worst season, i think a more sensible analysis is that the league has become far more competitive. It would be too much of a conicidence to say just city, chelsea, liverpool, united all just happened to have god awful seasons at the same time. In what era can you remember close to world class players like, Payet, Mahrez, Mane, playing for teams that would be considered relegation fodder not long ago. Yes despite this increased competiveness we are still there or thereabouts as we always are
He needs to be judged on a relatively injury free season. Leicester, spurs, and chelsea all had barely an injury between them in the respective years they did well. You had theo looking like the real deal before his injury then he comes back a shadow unable to regain form. Alexis is another one who took a while to get going again. How good would it have been this year to have wilshere come on for ozil to give him a rest. he is also now burnt out. we had a system that worked with santi, we struggled ever since. Look how spurs have performed with only one or two players suspended, dropping points. I dont know if next season will be any different but this is the most important factor for us, even more than 99% of any signings we could make imo
There are some serious concerns with the Wenger regime, for me the main one is the lack of burning desire to win at all costs and being happy with top four. This is an extrememly negative trait that has been entrenched in the team and this is my biggest critiscism of Wenger. I understand it was neccessary at one stage to be like that but not any more.
I actually dont have an issue with his transfer policy, unlike most of his critics i dont feel the one or two signings would have made the slightest bit of difference. The one signing we made was a world class player and then a quality addition in jan. It is indicative of the low intelligence, sheep like behaviour associated with the modern day fan that "the only team who didnt sign an outfield player" became a thing which they latched onto. When was that a criteria to judge a team? Next it will be something like "Arsenal are the only team to not sign a left footed player" and idiots will lap it up again. Its similar to the "years without a trophy", another label exclusive to arsenal despite media darlings spurs liverpool going for much longer barren years.
I digress. What im saying is, despite his faults (which all managers have btw) sticking with what we have got for one more year, espcecially as it coincides with his final year is by far the most sensible option whilst many other teams will be going through a fair bit of upheaval and adjustment. We could get a manager in who does a great job at aresnal, but if you would listen to most fans here anyone who came in would be an immediate improvement. Thats nonsense, people have got so used to the consistency he gives us that they have focussed and become obsessed with what he lacks.
Finally i dont think the extreme 5000-1 over achievement of Ranieri is a reason that makes it justifiable to slate Wenger. It is probably the first time in 20 or so years that a team who were odds on to finish beneath Arsenal actually have. Spurs to an extent too, but im clinging on to the hope of St Totts

Two problems with that,
a) Human nature. When players know that Wenger will not be in charge there is very little reason to go the extra mile for him. They know he will be gone soon enough. Look at how City players quit in mid-season and arguably they have a better squad irrespective of who we buy.
b) New players rarely sign for manager on the way out. Top players need to know they will be 'picked' and no one will take any promises he makes seriously. This is doubled when we don't have a technical director doing the buying. Top players don't sign for lame duck managers. Not going to happen. Unless of course he signs a new deal which is something that the club should not be offering after this poor season.
We already know that this team wasn't good enough to beat Leicester City so we need more than one or two top players.
"He needs to be judged on a relatively injury free season."
Well no. Building a squad is part of winning the title. And I stated in 2012 on this forum after the takeover that will now find out whether it was Wenger or David Dein's transfer policies that brought us all the success in the early years. It is now obvious to me it that Dein was the crucial cog in those successes and should be given equal praise for our titles.
You gave an example of Walcott and the how his injury turned our season. I agree to an extent. But last summer I wrote on this forum that Theo will be transitioning from a wing position to striker, that coupled with the fact he was recovering from a knee ligament injury means we need a new starting striker with Theo as Backup.
In fact Theos' injury meant we stopped playing counter attack foot ball because Giroud is not suited to that formation. As a result we went back to a style that has not worked for 3 previous years.
What did Einstein say about repeating the same them thing and expecting different results? Madness. All this was very predictable. A man getting paid £8m a season should have seen it if most of us could.
Thats the problem. I have seen it in top companies. When senior managers stop seeing the obvious because they are so wedded to what has worked before means that have become ineffective and need to be replaced. Football is no different. Its not about longevity. One reason why Fergie stayed at the top for so long is because he had enough introspection to realise he needed help to do the tactics, buying etc. And he listened to the people who surrounded him. Wenger is an autocratic narcissist. And its time to for him to go.
