Was catching up on some of the football I missed last night and watched the Spurs, Southampton game, VVD, Fraser, Big Vic all played a part in the win for them and I wondered if you could bring back ONE player from the last few years we have sold who would it be?
For me it would be Hooper, at his best he was deadly, scored aw types of goals and was so reliable, VVD would be a close second, has it all for a DC but until I know how Jonzo and Eric look I will go for Hoops
You too Bears, Steven Davis was superb yesterday as well, always liked him as a player so you can pick one player to bring back from the team that was just before all your shenanigans started, who would that be?
Got me thinking

You can say I am inconsistent in my approach all you want.
Davis was never paid to do fck all.....Ally was.
Davis is not a club legend...Ally is
+++++
Of course you are inconsistent
You say there was legal and board issues with the Davis case but it is the exact same thing with Ally
Both had contracts and both looked to have there contracts honoured
Simples
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I'll explain this as simply as possible
Both Davis and McCoist are welcome back at Ibrox anytime in my book.
All Steven Davis did for us was play as part of a team than got us to the UEFA cup final and as part of a team that helped deliver 3 league titles and multiple domestic cup victories.
When he left, he was legally obliged to do so, and his departure didn't hinder the clubs ability to recruit new talent, nor did it massively deprive the club of money that was badly needed to rebuild a team for the 12/13 season.......we got there with a squad flung together in 5 minutes
Ally McCoist, on the other hand, was massively overpaid to be the clubs manager in the lower leagues, he made a proper pigs breakfast of getting the club back up to the Premier League, he was only forced to vacate his position as manager due to his own inept management, he resigned probably knowing full well that he couldn't be paid off because the club couldn't afford to do so, and he sat taking a wage while doing fck all, continuing to do so after regime change.
I feel Ally deserved stick for doing what he did.
I dont feel the same regards Davis, and I certainly dont see the need to demonise the man or say he is not welcome at Ibrox anymore.
Yet there are some on these boards that are willing to forgive Ally but not Davis??

he didn't resign, he handed his notice in and was working it
the board placed him on leave.
the reason people forgive ally is his playing career tops him being a poor manager

Curly, what part of this dont you get??
I'm not the person sitting here saying Davis is still a cvnt for what he did but McCoist isnt am I??
Everything McCoist did was entirely under contract.
Davis didnt even have a contract with the new company when he left.
I gave Ally stick at the time, but its forgotten about, its water under the bridge.
Again...I am not the one still holding a grudge against any one of these guys, that aint me.
The whole point here is, Davis is villified by some coz he apparently cost the club money.....yet McCoist isnt, when he got overpaid to make a complete er$e of his job, and then subsequently got paid for doing fck all.
How the fck can you vilify one of them for monetary reasons, and not the other??
