Super 6 Final: Ward vs Froch

i think froch will grind out a win.

where will he rank in the best middleweights? i think amongst boxing fans he will be remembered as a good figther. but the general public won't remember him. which is a shame, coz i think he is decent.

I hope Froch wins, I think he'd deserve it and the accolades that would follow. The problem he has is that the public are probably sick of his self pity about how he isn't lauded as a great and the idiotic way he keeps trying to call Calzaghe out of retiement.

I do think Ward will have too much for him, he won't let Froch get in close and trade punches but will hurt him quickly and move out of range. Be a great fight to watch though as Froch tries to hunt him down and get him into a scrap.

Froch deserves a lot of respect as he is a true warrior. Heavy handed with a great chin and never a backward step. His fights are always exciting although the big criticism you could have of him is that he relies on that chin too much and takes far too many shots.

He'll push Ward all the way but I see less deficiencies in Ward than I see in Froch. I'll be hoping for a Froch win but I fear he'll come up just short.

It's been debated to death between Froch and Calzaghe fans but as a british fight fan who has enjoyed watching both fighters I have to say that calzaghe would win. No question. For me he's the best boxer to come from britain in my generation. Such a shame he wasted his career fighting no marks in Welsh backwaters.

In the wake of Calzaghe's retirement I put forward and idea that they should have a tournament of the 6 best super middles in the world so they could fight each other and at the end one fighter would reign supreme.

A few months later Showtime announce there Super 6 tournament.

Ward will grind out a win, he's a better boxer than froch who keeps his hands too low relies on his chin too much, not pro active enough just responds to his opponents attacks. Froch struggled with Taylor and dirrell the two slickest boxers he faced, he'll have the same trouble with ward, ward to win by UD.
