Okay so in summary who thinks this was an "excellent" season?
Yes, 3rd place on paper looks very good, but in my opinion, todays result has just confirmed this season as a bigger bottle job than when we had the 10point gap over arsenal in 12/13. 70points is not amazing at all, we're just lucky a lot of other teams were poo.
Throughout the whole season we have demonstrated a lack of fight/bottle in the games that really matter:
Arsenal (Home and away), Leicester (Home), Chelsea (Away), Southampton (Home), West Ham (Away), Newcastle (Away).
Only the stoke result was a game in which we won while under immense pressure. We have consistently dropped leads all year, and barely scored in the last few minutes to get a decisive winner/equaliser. The lack of fight after Hazard scored this season has been shocking.
Frankly, todays result has put the nail in the coffin for this season, and I hope thats the end I hear of this "amazing" season. Hopefully next year we won't throw every bloody competition we enter, and we actually win a trophy again.
Finally - Squad depth not good enough. Mason, Carroll, Davies, Son are not good enough. Onomah, while young, has not shown me anything exciting all season unlike similar players in his age range (or when they were young): Redmond, Ibe, Sterling, Iheanacho, Rashford, Januzaj etc.
Summary: Average season

6/10. No more than that. Would have been 7 or 8 but for the abysmal end of the season.

8/10 for three quarters of the season, 0/10 last 5 weeks.

I got kicked off your match thread for saying this today. Glad some of your fans are realistic enough to see that talk of being part of the "new elite" are nonsense.
That said, I hope to see you doing well next season again and hopefully we will be up there with you challenging for champions league spots

FA Cup was a massive missed opportunity for Spurs considering you got beat at home by a Palace side who have been absolutely atrocious since the turn of the year.

Good read
Your manager is young and still learning
His teams run out of steam towards the end of the season
Never won a trophy and until he does the question marks won't go away. The media love in has been ridiculous, the way you treated the EL was disgraceful
Nevertheless CL qualification is still a very good season as this would have been the expectations
Next season will be massive for poochy

I think Levy needs to re-write his letter to the Spurs fans where he called it a "truly remarkable" season.
I said at the time it was too early....

First month awful. 3 points first 4 games
Last month. A joke. 2 points from 4 games with title still available. Unacceptable
