Thanks Roman for forming Chelsea in 03.

Us glory hunting fans are forever grateful

I remember back in 2003 when myself, BrummieRed, Biggish (who’s username at the time was FergieFanBoy) Superb (who’s username in 03 was TheBoyGiggs) and Iffy who was just……..Iffy, had an online meeting and decided to support this new club, because it looked like they’d be the team to support moving forward. We jumped ship from supporting a team we had supported with absolute loyalty since 1993 having previously been Pool fans before that.

It does beg some very important questions………

How did Roman form a club in 03 and immediately take them in to the Premiership?

What happened to the club who previously occupied the stadium we stole?

What were their name? And why have our club been credited with winning all 3 European Trophies when everyone knows the previous occupants of our stadium won the 2 Cup Winners Cups and we clearly hadn’t been formed until 03.

Biggish, Brummie, Frankie and Iffy have you got your Season Tickets applications for the King Power Stadium or are you going to apply to City in the knowledge that Pep is coming? I need to know now before I apply.

I'm not sure about the Leicester ST just yet Flash, I might just buy individual match tickets for the 1st half of the season and see how things pan out with Pep at City and how Leicester cope with the title defense before I make a choice on my next team.

Oh how I miss those heady days standing on The Kop in the 70s and 80s and watching Kanchelskis flying down the wing at Old Trafford in the 90s!!

LOL

How many of you were Arsenal fans (who were formerly utd fans) before you took a leap of faith to switch to Chelsea?

Arsenal - I'd never go that low

Before Utd we were all Pool fans, before that Forest and before that Leeds

There's a lot of truth in that TBG.

The owners of those 3 wheel invalid cars will be doing donuts in their graves reading this

I remember my dad taking me to Stamford Bridge as a kid, watching those cars drive round the pitch and thinking how cool it was that you had a parade before the match

Talking of going to the Bridge. I used to hate leaving it. Dreaded going on to the Fulham Broadway platform and always wondered how nobody got pushed over the edge.

When i wasn't so much in a hurry after moving to Manchester, i'd actually walk to Earls Court and get myself back to Euston Station from there.

I still do that on route to either Euston or Marylebone Flash, sometimes stopping off for a pint in the Blackbird with 69!

Brummie did you ever feel unsafe on Fulham Broadway platform? I used to hate it. But cos i was in a hurry to get back to Kings Cross it was a necessity.

Not really Flash, I always made sure I was well away from the platform edge!
