40m is a lot. But if we really want him and thats all they want to accept, then we have to pay up. Or just do our usual of buying substandard players because they are cheaper.

Don't really know if this guy is really good, but if we want top player and win big trophies, we have to pay high fees. Unless wenger unearths a mahrez vardy, kante, payet type player that is. But he hasn't done than in years. We usually get players like sonogo instead these days.

I'd rather Wenger pay over odds if necessary for a top class striker.

For some reason wenger doesn't want a top striker.

Xhaka was basically an Arsenal player only a week ago.

Now there's a 15m difference in valuations?

Still not even convinced we are in for him tbh. Going to have about 8 players competing for two positions next year

€25M is about right. Nothing special. Hope we don't sign him tbh.

After Welbeck injury, he must be forced into getting one...

Or knowing Wenger he might say "Sanago is like new signing"

We need a better striker anyway. We have Giroud who cant perform well for more than an absolute maximum of 2 months after which he burns out and is crap, hence his not scoring between January and May.

Then we have Welbeck and Walcott who cost a total of about £26m and spend more time injured than playing. You get what you pay for and I would settle for a £30m+ striker at this stage but ideally we need a £50m+ striker to get decent quality in the current market.

I'm thinking of setting up a website, which seems to be available for Walcott, Welbeck and Wilshere, and we even get www at the start for their initials..

Talking about injuries, why does Wenger not look into obvious problems that is causing havoc to Arsenal team. I mean Welbeck was rarely injured at Man U, comes to Arsenal missed 90% of second season and now will miss another season
