Manu's hypocritical fanboys

I'm sure most were ripping Jose and Chelsea fans over jose's meltdown and now low and behold the new chosen one is in town and the new messiah

Normal one any day for me lads

There is a reason why he got a 3 year contract

As for hendo, I hope none of the liverpool players playing. They are the ones that are always scape goat like the last world cup. It was all down to the liverpool players. Instead let our players get good rest for the summer

Failed as in won the title

or

Failed as in reached 2 cup finals, and lost them both

LVG has left Mourinho with an amazing first 11. Just needs to get squad upto shape and the potential in this squad will be scary. TBH I expected Chelsea to struggle. Chelsea were poor for last 6 months of the title winning side. Chelsea and Leicester City had both similarlities. Lost 3 league games despite being outplayed in a lot of games as they could nab a goal from anywhere.

It's obvious that Maureen has a massive rebuilding job in front of him, as has Pep. Neither City nor United have what is called a team; each side looks disfunctional.

He's made no secret of his ambition to manage United, and that's from a long time ago. He sees himself as the natural successor to SAF. Well, if that how he sees himself then good luck to him. I think he'll need it.

PS fantastic strike by Rooney for your country last night. I thought his days of the spectacular were behind him, but, clearly, not so.

PPS I thought Brad Smith had a very good game indeed, he had Raheem in his pocket a good few times, nice to see.

MOTM? No question: step forward Nathaniel and take a bow.

JimmyTheRed I think this one of our best sides since 2008. All it needs is the finishing to click and not to waste attacks and we should score a lot more goals. Defensively we looked extremely solid last 2 seasons.

Obviously my views are influenced by what I've seen a la LVG Posh, and from the outside looking in it hasn't been pretty. It will take some finishing before anything clicks, if at all.

Without Rashford and Lingard there's been an awful lot missing from ManU.
