Kyle Walker

Hopefully people will now start to realise that England has a very good right-back in their hands. Always been a player that gets slaughtered for playing badly, and never gets any credit when it's warranted.

He was brilliant yesterday, a much better option than Clyne.

At 26 he has matured and fulfilled a lot of his potential.

He had a good season but early on in the season he regularly had his brain farts for which he is famed but luckily the team rarely got punished hence no one remembers them

Still has a way to go. Being England best right back is nothing to shout about - England are shiiiiit

I have always shouted for Clyne but I agree Walker has been good in this competition. He isn't the brightest player but his work rate is fantastic.

To all the fans saying he is way ahead of Clyne get a grip. Clyne is one of the most consistent players in the league last season. He hardly ever makes mistales and has helped our defence a lot. He has been sound for England as well in all the qualifiers and friendlies.

England are blessed at right back right now to have two fantastic right backs.

Walkers played well but the standard of opposition has been a bit of a joke

Wouldn't swap him for Clyne myself at club level but he deserves his place currently for the national side

Busby

Last time i looked Walker is a right back and Shaw is a left back.

So its Rose and Bertrand's position that will be under scrutiny when Shaw gets fit again.

Brilliant?? The guy rolls it over his left leg and pushes it down to the right. Every. Time.

On the three occasions he cut inside he was so woeful at distributing it with his left foot it was obvious why he always go via the outside.

I think he made about 2 decent crosses. He worked hard.

Brilliant? No. Much better than Rose? Yes.

In the last two games Walker has been hit and miss with his crossing but he has defended well and has been immense with his hard running down the right flank.

He has been a great outlet for England and has been turning defence into attack superbly and has rightfully been MOTM twice in a row.

I haven't seen a fullback drive the team forward the way Kyle has in this tournament so far.

Walker has been good, doesn't mean he is a better player than Clyne though.

Kyle Walkers all over Clubs

Walker has has had a very good season. Those dismissing him prior to the tournament were wide of the mark and basing it on old evidence.

Clyne and Bertrand are good players, Id have no qualms if either started, but the way we have set up - teams and make up of squad - the Spurs boys are far better suited.

Great game wasn't it.
