Mowatt - no contact from leeds

Mowatt not good enough simple as that!

Look at it this way, if MC had brought him you would be up in arms at how poor he has been.

Mowatt played in the right position is good enough for this league

Prem, nah his pace will always hold him back

And the facts back him up, when he was played in his correct position, he got 1 in 4, which is great for a midfielder

Mowatt has proven to be good enough, but, we need better players than him. we need more mobile players than him who can dictate games. He's worth keeping but we cant lose these youngsters on the cheap.

One good season, one bad season best 2 out 3 perhaps.

Without Mowatt season before last we'd have been lucky to stay up.

Play him in right position and he consistently scores goals.

What is it with people that they blindly defend the management letting our better players go.

Without Mowatt we would have gone down, what a load of tosh. You can say the same about Silvestre's saves, Beradi's defending. Play Mowatt where you like but he still is not good enough and is not one of our better players.

Can only assume you didn't follow Leeds in 14/15 season.

His goals won us crucial points that season.

I suppose you're going to tell us that all the people who voted for his 3 different player of the year awards that season were wrong as well.

You must admit Mowatt was poor last season. I can only remember 2 games where he scored goals. Of our young players, Mowatt is the one that I wouldn't mind losing.

Maid I'm not saying he wasn't but he wasn't played in position and was in/out if team.

As I said, play him in position and he's a good player for us.

Mowatt was fantastic in 14/15. Not just number of goals, but they were all crucial goals. 1-0s, 2-1s. I remember working it out once and he'd won us over 10 points.

That shows his ability, also shows he can step up when it matters too.

Last season we saw him played deep or on the left wing. He was also the fall guy - he'd have a few good games, then we'd lose a game and he'd get dropped.

Play him in a role that allows him to get forward, get into the box, not worry so much about defensive work, and he's a good player. I wanted to see a midfield of Cook, Dave with Mowatt ahead of them at a some point.

Never rated Mowatt,as he seemed to struggle with the concept of passing a ball. Maybe I shouldn't expect players to be able to do the basics
