I really feel we need to turn our attentions to someone else now. I trust Ranieri and Walsh but this is an absurd amount of money for someone who is 27 and only scored 8 goals from open play last season. Even if he is a 'perfect fit', this is crazy, crazy money.

I've repeatedly said that signing Upson was a one off mistake and not representative of our recruitment policy. Am I blaming Pearson for the Upson transfer?! Nope, I was defending the club and saying to be fair to Walsh and co maybe it was Pearson who really wanted him.
I know you get very touchy when anything slightly negative about Pearson is said - but it was him that publicly stated that Upson would have a pivotal role for Leicester when he signed him. Therefore not unreasonable to think np may have been a fan.
Who knows maybe it was a Walsh target all the way? It doesn't really matter....

we cannot complain about our recruitment any club that has an over 50% success rate is doing well. I am guessing we are well above that.
For all our sanity forget the numbers it means nothing we are going to pay what we need to secure the players we want. So do yourselves a favor and forget the money. Also we are now doing to other cluba as we ahd done to us. Image you reaction when you here Premier league champions want ******* from ******** (your club) chance to play in Europe and earn between £50-100K per week.
