Euro 2016 - Last 16 Croatia v Portugal

Good Afternoon

Whilst it has not been the greatest tournament so far I've missed the football the last few days

First up we have Switzerland v Poland. Followed by Wales v Northern Ireland and then what I think might be a great game, Croatia v Portugal.

The standout bet for me today is the treble of Poland, Wales and Croatia. Pays 15/1.

I think Poland are over priced in the first game. I thought they were solid in qualifying in the qualification games, looked good in the group stages and have yet to concede a goal. On top of that they have Lewandowski who has not yet scored but has the talent. They must also fancy the half of the draw they are in. The Swiss I thought were unconvincing in the group stages. There only win came against a 10 men Albania who actually deserved much more against them.

Poland through on penalties.

Next up Wales v Northern Ireland. Hopefully we will see a game where both teams try to win it. First time in my lifetime I will see a home nation other than England reach a QF

Next up Croatia v Portugal. Hopefully a good game between two evenly matched teams. Bet is BTTS and Croatia to win.
