BRITISH LOSE RIGHT TO CLAIM THAT AMERICANS ARE DUMBER

http://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/british-lose-right-to-claim-that-americans-are-dumber

Read a story about a guy with a Polish girlfriend and he voted Leave. She is furious with him and now is considering her future in the UK. The dude has voted for ousting his own girlfriend, cant make this stuff up

I have to say, talking to people in Ireland, and several of my EU friends, and reading more and more about the matter, seems UK made a big dumb mistake.

You looking stupid for ranting about my agenda then admitting you don't know what it is. It's stupid. Take it on the chin as it's not a hard concept and one entirely of your own making.

I don't care if you insult me or not but you seem a little precious so I hope your self esteem improves because as you say it just an anonymous forum.

You're really not coming out of this very well.

" So what was the point?

50 hour weeks and 4k worse off. The joy!"

And there we have it yet again. Why on earth do you think everyone who voted to leave was only interested in closing down borders? Is that the limit of your understanding as to why many people including musket voted for this? I've gone to lengths on anther post to explain my rationale and my understanding and voted for personal and business reasons. You just fail to accept anything other than the myopic spouted garbage from many who cry out for democracy but don't accept it because well, you didn't get what you wanted. The reason you didn't get the vote to Remain is that those it's supposed to matter to most, the young just either couldn't be bothered, were oblivious to it because they thought it would never happen or couldn't care less. That's the youth of today who many purport to care about.

Instead of just thinking about what suits your argument maybe you're as guilty of not doing what a vast majority of Remain campaigners also failed to do and that's to listen to people. Only when you fully understand the many reasons many people voted to leave can you then form an opinion as to who they are, what they think and how intelligent their are. Until then just live in your own bubble and accept democracy.

As for the 50 hours a week and £4K worse off; do you honestly believe this? Do you blindly just accept what is thrown out there as long as it suits your stance?

Dearie me.

Are 16 and 17 year olds allowed to vote? No. Seems you forgot that one.

No I didn't forget it at all. What made you think that as a matter of interest?

The 18-24 year old age group was I believe the lowest voting percentage was it not?

If that age group had voted as a percentage of the population as the others did, the Remain vote would have carried the day.

Christ. You're still here jabbering away?

It's not important to me whatsoever as to how you think I "come out of this". Very childish I must say.

And you're not upset? You have a very strange way of showing it.

And for the last time I responded to your post, not your imagination of what you think I believe is your agenda as you put it. I still have no idea what your agenda is. Do you actually have one apart from hanging on my every reply?

Their parents are, and according to he polls the 30-60 year olds wanted out.

So explain, do these parents not care about their children's future?

Or is it possible, this age group, who have actually experienced both sides of the coin, voted with them in mind?

===============================

The voice of the 'millenial me' generation speaks.....

.....as an observer, I would say you need to take stock, stop being so hysterical and look to the long game.

The politics around this issue is nuanced; it's not an instant process.

This referendum result is just the starting point.

That will be why you wrote a thousand words to me then.

What a Ć„wat.

Yet you just did precisely that.

Which part of leaving the EU involves "ousting" peoples' girlfriends from the country?

It never ceases to amaze me how many people have recently jumped on the "leave voters are stupid" bandwagon despite the fact that the people making these claims don't even understand what the recent vote was all about.

You couldn't make it up. Except that some nob inevitably will....

So, so true.

Some people need to take a long, hard look at themselves.

Indeed...People are even coming out with stuff like "old people should not be allowed to vote" and "only educated people should be allowed to vote"..

Basically, these ideas are just a hop and a skip away from fascism. Democracy has spoken and those who didn't like the result are now born again fascists demanding another vote!
